Mold maintenance technician

Job description
As a mold maintenance engineer, you are responsible for inspecting, assembling and (having) repaired the molds of our injection molding machines. In addition, you keep an eye on the mold warehouse and you ensure storage and cataloging of the molds and their parts. You work independently, flexibly and efficiently to minimize disruptions in the production process. You have good analytical skills and strive for the right quality with good output
What are you going to do, among other things?
- Coordinating (preventive) maintenance
- Repair and improvement work on the moulds and hot runners
- (Have) Carry out repairs to the moulds
- Trouble shooting for mold-related injection molding problems
- Preserving (cleaning and lubricating) molds and mold parts and carrying out checks for possible defects.
- Supporting production
- Managing and building strong customer relationships;
- Consultation with external parties regarding repair work to be carried out;
What we're looking for
- MBO technical training
- Passion for plastic injection molding
- Knowledge of turning, milling and grinding
- Able to read technical drawings of injection moulds
- Knowledge of various types of steel.
- A good eye for quality and responsibility for production
