The Packaging Advisor distinguishes six categories of foods and sets them alongside three buying motives:
- Content: The food product is bought for the content of the packaging, the packaging itself has a mere protective function. Example: cheap private label products in supermarkets.
- Temptation: The name of the producer and/or the packaging persuades the consumer to buy the product. The packaging reflects the image of the brand name. Example: leading brand products in supermarkets.
- Experience: The consumer wants the product for its packaging, as a collector’s item. The content is less important. Example: packaging with a picture of a movie, amusement park (characters) or (famous) sportsmen and sportswomen.
The Packaging Advisor helps you choose the right packaging that suits your product. Do you need help or is your packaging not included? Please do not hesitate to contact us!
