Since the early ‘90s Cups4you (previously Vadeal Plastics) has been specialising in injection moulding of thin-walled packaging combined with In Mould Labeling (IML). The term is derived from the technique: a pre-printed polypropylene (PP) label is placed in a mould. This mould has the shape of the end product. With the injection-moulding technique any design is possible, which creates the possibility to make a detailed package.

During the injection moulding process the injection moulding machine heats the PP to a liquid mass that is injected into the mould under very high pressure. With special peripheral equipment the pre-printed label is placed in the mould just before closing. The mould closes and the liquid plastic fuses with the label, after which it cools down to a fixed temperature at high speed. In just a few seconds the injection moulding machine and the peripheral equipment produce a packaging with a unique design from one single material.

In order to achieve this, Cups4you works with reputable suppliers. The modern peripheral equipment with pneumatic and servomotors is developed and built by our own people. We also work together with local technical schools.
