Sustainability

Being a family-owned business, sustainability is an important aspect of our management – economically, socially and ecologically.

In the economic dimension, we aim for a sustainable growth. We employ a long-term vision and aspire to be a solid business. Cups4you considers it important to be a reliable partner for its employees, suppliers and shareholders.

We are also aware of our role in (local) society. We value being a good employer for the local economy, including people who are distanced from the labour market. To this end, Cups4you works together with local companies to help (re-)integrate these people into the labour market. We are proud to be able to produce our quality products in The Netherlands (Oss). As from the 1st of June 2011 our plant in Veghel was closed down, so that we, and our employees, can concentrate all our attention on our plant in Oss, where we have been located since 1970.

Ecologically we are always trying to minimise our impact on the environment. In the development of new products we aim at making them as lightweight as is technologically possible, without compromising the qualitative aspects of the product. This way we make sure no more plastic is put on the market than necessary. Furthermore, we collaborate with other companies to recycle plastic. This way, a 100% of our in-house plastic waste is recycled and reprocessed into flowerpots.
