History

In 1969 Cups4you was established under the name of Vadeal Plastics by Mr Van der Aalst in Beek en Donk (The Netherlands). The first products Vadeal Plastics produced included plastic coffee stirrers, measuring cups for detergents, mugs and delivery products for various industries.

In 1970 the company moved to Oss and in the ‘80s the company increasingly specialised in injection moulding of packaging for salad manufacturers etc, combined with Dry Offset Printing.

The ‘In Mould Labeling’ technology combined with the injection moulding of thin-walled packaging for the food and beverage industry, was first used in 1993. This led to a substantial growth of the company in the ‘90s and the beginning of the 21st century. To this end, a second production facility was opened in Veghel in 2004.

Moreover, the brand name Cups4you was introduced in 2004, which would also replace the name of the company – Vadeal Plastics – in 2009.

Next to the production of thin-walled packaging, the company started producing plastic injection-moulded screw caps for PET and glass bottles under the name of Closures4you, at the end of 2008. The caps are patented and suitable for the beverage industry.

Like many other companies, Cups4you was affected by the worldwide recession. In 2009 and 2010, some changes were made at the management and shareholder level, after which the company took a new direction, without turning its back on the company’s forty-year-old history.

In 2011 the plant in Veghel was closed down and the production facility in Oss was expanded and refurbished, giving Cups4you the opportunity again to become a major player in the field of packaging solutions for the food and beverage industry.
